Passion leads to success and passion is necessary to improve. That's exactly what Episode 13 of Ahiru no Sora showed us. Hello guys i am back again with my review and today its about Ahiru no Sora.
In this episode a week-long training starts for our protagonist and his friends. The frame starts with Madoka missing a trip with her friend and Sora running with his futon towards school for school training camp. With all the basketball team gathered in the school front, our cute coach Nao san appears with a big bag with the shoes for our basketball team. In a group of 8 people in which 7 boys and 1 girls lead to misunderstanding and that's what our Chiaki boy ask Nao where will she sleep and she replied that she is scared sleeping alone and she will sleep together with boys which increases the spirits of boys. The boys gathers up in the club and rather than starting practice Nabe,Saki and Chiaki starts talking about fun which makes Kite a little angry because Kite was serious about entering inter-high tournament.
And then hellish training for our basketball team starts made by Nao. Madoka as well join the team as she has nowhere to spend her week long holiday. Madoka ask Nao about anything she can do and Nao ask her to cook. Boys with high expectation of
eating the food made by Nao, a top of her class in Home eco but there expectation were crushed after they saw the food made by Madoka. Well other boys goes without eating but Momoharu stays there and eats which showed the possibility of future romantic relation between Madoka and Momoharu. But we all know what happens to those who eats the food forcefully for other, well rather cliche scene but Momoharu was taken to hospital in ambulance.
Due to the hellish training three newbie Nabe, Saki and Yasuhara were sent to rest by the coach Nao but to hold the basketball all the time while they rest. Second day of training ends and when Sora goes to the court for personal training of 1000 shots he saw Kite personal training. That's when Kite tells Sora about what does he thinks about the team and will they really be able to enter inter-high. Well as we all know our protagonist Sora he gets confused and he keep his silence because in some way he also thinks the same way of the team like Kite. And then Yasuhara enters the court to ask suggestion to Kite which shows the Yasuhara passion towards basketball. When the training over Kite enters club room and sees Saki, Nabe and Chiaki playing game which made Kite angry and he blurt out about wasting and slacking off rather than practice. With made Nabe, Saki and Chiaki angry and tomorrow morning Nabe and Saki leaves.
While Nabe and Saki were slacking and going to arcade to play game and while returning they sees middle school and junior school boys were shouting each other about who will use the basketball court and Nabe and Saki enters and talk things out and find out about the match between middle school boys and junior school which was won by middle school and Nabe and Saki ask for the match between middle school boys and them in which Nabe and Saki was utterly defeated and they asked the middle school boy " how are so good at basketball? " the boys replied " we are plaing since first grade and we want to get lot better " which showed the definition of passion as well as fun in doing there passion. Nabe and Saki were shocked about knowing that they were playing basketball for more than 6 years and still want to get better.
At last in the court Sora wants to go and find Nabe and Saki as they enjoy playing basketball which can increase the chance of becoming passion for then.
